FADING LIGHT

Sitting in a corner

She closes her ears and eyes...

Her dress is wet,

By the tears she shed...

Trembling with fear

Shaken by humiliation,

The walls beside her collapse....

The darkness sweeps us all,

Engulfing our uncontested fears

Blowing us to a void

Of no return…

But that’s only a test in disguise 

To every man alive…

For the survivor

Shall slash apart the inconceivable darkness

With the colours he possess

No wall

No barrier

Can stand against thee…

You are the power 

The change

The captain of your sail in life…

May thou be blessed 

With the realization 

That the years that shall fall upon
